The Red Room is the story of the doctors, working at a clinic in Istanbul, and their patients. Every one of those, knocking on the door of the clinic, is there to overcome unresolved problems and to share the pain they can not deal anymore. Behind the closed doors patients share their untold secrets and painful truths. They want to start over as a new person, not to make the same mistakes again and to change their lives for good.
The clinic is run under the leadership of the Mrs. Doctor (Binnur Kaya) as well as Dr. Piraye, Dr. Deniz and Dr. Ayşe. While they are healing their patients, they also curing their own wounds.
The Red Room follows the stories of the patients as their lives change after they started coming to therapy and how the five doctors who gathered under the roof of Mrs. Doctor. Like the patients, doctors also struggle and evolve by facing their past, fears, mistakes and love. They share the moments and emotions that are part of being human, beyond their gender. The story of every patient opens a window to the life of the each doctor. Stories leads to other stories while the roles between the doctors and the patients shifts reciprocally.
